New Build Contractors in North Cornwall

We were commissioned to deliver the structural carpentry package for a development of four new build homes in St Issey, North Cornwall.

Working closely with the main contractor and other trades on site, we played a key role in delivering the structural framework of each property — ensuring everything was built accurately, safely, and in line with current building regulations.

Our work included the installation of prefabricated roof trusses, along with a traditional cut roof section to create a vaulted ceiling within the main living space. This feature was supported by a structural glulam beam, carefully installed and integrated into the timber framework to achieve both strength and a high-quality finish.

Throughout the project, we coordinated with the masonry team and steel installers to ensure all structural elements — including restraint strapping, steel supports, and timber framing — worked together correctly. Attention to detail at each stage helped ensure a smooth build process and a reliable end result.

As the project progressed, we also completed the installation of stairs, internal doors, and finishing carpentry, helping bring the properties to completion and ready for final handover.
